Founder and Chairman, The Supper Club

Duncan is the Founder of Learn Amp, a software-as-a-service, Employee Success Platform with a mission to ‘make work life, work better’. Learn Amp makes it easy to deliver a great employee experience -induction, onboarding and other learning pathways, managing risk, compliance and internal knowledge as well as performance management. It’s been named best Learning Experience Platform globally for the last two years and won best of use technology in the 2019 Employee Experience Awards.

Duncan has also spent nearly 20 years championing UK enterprise. He is Chairman of The Supper Club which he set up in 2003. The Club is now home to around 500 of Britain’s most innovative, high growth entrepreneurs and has hosted over 3,000 peer-to-peer learning events.

Duncan sits on the Chartered Management Institute’s Board of Companions, was a co-founder of StartUp Britain (launched by the Prime Minister in March 2011) and was a non-exec of the Start Up Loans Company. He has also sat on a variety of Advisory Boards including the Centre of Entrepreneurs and the Sheffield University Management School

Prior to all this he’s been a failed cowboy in outback Brazil and a rather better Finance Director for a VC-backed publishing group with variety of other jobs in between.
