After initially training as a professional stage actor I quickly realised this was not the career for me. I fell into agency and quickly fell in love with it- much to my own surprise. 18 months later, me and my business partner An launched ‘base property specialists’. We’ve spent the last 20 years questioning ‘what is good estate agency’- with strong emphasis on the why as well as the how. We’ve spent this time disrupting the industry from the inside out, picking up over 30 industry awards to date covering everything from innovation to marketing to customer service to tech and everything inbetween.

As advocates of the digital evolution of agency, we helped shaped various offerings in the proptech space before finally launching our own offering, The Depositary, in early 2020. Our aim is to create a new digital standard for tenancy conclusions across the UK with 2 primary objectives: the reduce tenancy deposit refunds from an average of 21 days to 10 or less and to reduce the work demands on an agency or corporate landlord entity by as much as 95%.

I currently sit on the Zoopla Lettings Advisory Board as an inaugural member since 2021 and was on the Board of the UKPA (UK PropTech Association) 2019-2021.
