Nick started his career as an engineer before moving on to product design, innovation and strategy with the world leading design agency IDEO. After designing everything from computers and telephones to post boxes and furniture, he changed direction and moved into branding, working with several leading London agencies. In 2004 Nick set up the London based, brand design and innovation agency, Echo, with Nigel Ritchie and Andrew Capper.
As MD, he runs the business, but his passion is in leading Echo’s innovation and strategy offer. Working with clients including Unilever, Nestlé and The English Tea Shop, Nick integrates the brand and product into one unified story. In 2018 Nick proposed Echo focus its business on delivering growth through sustainability and is now focused on helping clients including William Grant and Sons and Danone embrace sustainable production with ethical practices to build brands and gain commercial growth.
